This year is definitely a good year to be on a river.

The hatches have been good, the water is perfect and the trout are feeding..

Today we landed about 25 with 2 big ones.

looks like you had a great day thanks for posting and sharing the pics browns and a brook trout nice job,the water looks great as well.

Beautiful Fish!

A couple of them even seem to have their "Fall Spawning Colours".

Guess you guys up more north have the water that gives them that different look.

I personally think a good looking Brown with all its colours (Gold's, yellows, spots) are the most Beautiful of all are many species.

Thanks for the nice report.

Hope you catch many more (Which I am sure you will)

Hey Roska,

I was using a 9 foot 5 weight since one of my customers fell and broke my 9' 4 weight on the weekend.. We were nymphing for the trout and they both took size 14 nymphs.

One of my customers lost a 26" monster yesterday on a different river but landed 2 other ones around 20" and the guy today got a nice 20" brown trout despite the slower fishing. It's been very good fishing lately.
