As a reminder : when u step foot on Ice, u accept the risks of what can and cannot happen ... regardless of what I'm about to say : ALWAYS SPUD when your not sure!!
i was out there today and the ice is freezing up nice , I was drilling 6 inches for the first 4 holes and up to 8 inches in some spots with a lot of permanent fish huts out everywhere ,with weather being in the -20's for the past few nights, it's only gonna get thicker. So if someone was wanting to make the long trip out here , bring your gear and make sure to spud every few feet at your discretion .
