Braid with leader for pier salmon?

I use the surgeon knot but wrap it 6 times around.

When I do use flouro leader to braid for other types of fishing (typically not for salmon), I use this knot, but I don't do the 24 wraps like the guy in video.

sweet that's the same knot im using but its the regular Albright the one in the video is called the improved albright where you wrap it up and down.

I lost all my braid so now Im stuck with 14 lb mono. And a reel that only holds 150 yards of it lol.
