Braided Lines for New Sahara spinning reel.

Just got a Sahara spinning reel to replace my 20 year old Abu Garcia reel. What braided lines do you recommend?

I have 2 sahara's, both loaded as full as can be with 15 lb PP, can cast a mile!

I find 20 the sweet spot cuz I sometimes get bedding with fifteen

Any of you tried the Power Pro super 8 slick.

Sufix braid is a lot more abrasion resistant than powerpro. Powerpro is cheaper though.

Unless you are fishing in rocky/log heavy area, go with powerpro

I like 20 lb too, it works well with the 8 lb fluor leader I use.

Power pro is the best on the market. Suffix is great but for 2 bucks less for a 150 yard spool go with the power pro. I would stick to a 15 lbs for the sahara. I hope you got the 2500-3000 sized spool. Best for your multi-species.
