Canadian Tire has their breathable xplore waders on until Thursday May 9th, I don't know how good they are maybe some of the other members can advise.
I know these waders and they actualy are a lower end wader. If you are the kind of angler who gets out of his car takes 3 steps and you're in the river then maybe those lower quality waders are ok but most serious anglers walk through hell and high water to get to their special holes, you need quality waders to do that, like my father always said "I don't have enough money to buy cheap"RonnieTO said:These are not their lower end waders, last week they had on the neoprene camo for $83, I would think that if you were going to wear them every day and go bushwhacking with them on then I think go for the higher end waders that will take the abuse.if you dont have $300-$450 and you only have $100 here is an option IMO
Hrrrrm..... what's wrong with getting out your car walking 3 steps and you're in the river.driftman said:I know these waders and they actualy are a lower end wader. Ronnie I apologize, sometimes I'm very near sighted and don't take enough time to realize that everybody has their own situation, I hope that everything turns out well for you.RonnieTO said:guys you are missing the whole point... when I was in CT I saw breatheable waders regular price was $199 on sale for $99. They werent the cheapest ones that they had, look them up on their website.
I dont know what it is with some people, ok they are not for you, thats fine but all this negative comments about a pair of waders.
if I had a $100 I would have bought them, but I'm on disabilty so I dont have extra money. I have a pair of rubber boots that arent high enough to get me to the other side of Bronte Creek, so I am not only limited in mobilty I am limited where I can go and fish.
I am trying to have a bit of dignity being able to get out now and again and try and keep the dark clouds away. I have spent all I have and who knows what is waiting for me around the corner... you are all very fortunate that you can afford all the good gear and have the health and the ability to hit those HOT spots.
