Desi,
When you go to check the mouth.. could you let us all know what the conditions are like?

That was my question to someone that had been there :) I live in Kitchener and just didnt want to drive all the way there after work for if nothing is going on...

Was there after the rain on Tuesday.. Some looser there was trying to pick a fight with me cuz my Cleo accidentally snagged his "3 hook bottom bouncing rig" technically his buddy snagged me into him.. W.e that. Argument really irritated me so I just chilled out and watch 40+ people cast aimlessly into the darkness. I walked off and saw some jumpers however no takers.

Did some pier fishing last night, pulled in a nice male. A couple guys pulled in 4. Also caught 2 fully soaked shoes, pants and jacket. Well worth it.. caught my first salmon!! :D

Fished the lighthouse side of Bronte Pier from 2 am to 6 am. this morning. Didn't catch anything, but lost two Glow Cleos. Some guys on the lighthouse side caught a couple prior to 2 am. while others on the 'dark side' of the pier caught a couple post 2 am. Heard plenty of jumps, but there were minimal bites!

I think I heard that guy bitching, were you like a hundred feet down from the lighthouse on the lakeshore side of the marina?? I was there with my girlfriend a bit down on the right on the bench, but didnt see any action or fish so I didnt bother casting either. I heard the guy bitching about "straight out" and the angler he was talking to put his rod down (I assumed they had a sicking rig in the water and were watching the rod) didnt think he gave up fishing because of that.

Fishing it tight there and darn near shoulder to shoulder, I would definetely have crossed some dudes being that close, its hard to cast that straight 100% of the time trying to go for the distance with the cleos

I still havent seen a salmon the 3 times Ive went since rain either, went to bronte twice, and portcredit once. Tons of people fishing, no bites, or sights for me

Was at the pier side of Bronte last night from 1-3. I only saw one guy leave with one and someone behind us on the lake shore side caught one on his bottom rig and threw it back. I was pumped fishing that night too my first cast something hit my line or cleo but didn't fully take or rolled off quickly.

Got the adrenaline pumping for the rest of the night though!

I was fishing right under the light house, and later moved to the top-end of the pier. I had a light grey jacket on. Were you on the light house side of the pier?

I was on the "darkside" on the pier that jets out with water on both sides.

People on the 'dark side' seemed to have better luck with the fish early this morning. Hopefully, we can meet up on the pier for some fishing before the Saugeen trip.
