I am using both madoc---8wt down to 4 wt---however the spey is something is tarted to learn from madriver in the winter and enjoyed it--we went out last night to a pond in markhma and rocked the lines a bit--he rejuventated my excitement for the spey--now I need to move closer to bigger rivers---madoc on the lake if you can wade in a bit its awesome to cast a spey rod--roll casts a mile long

I am really keen in learning fly fishing. And live in Markham too. If you guys are practicing and dont mind I would like to join you. That is if somebody guides me to buy myself a "starter kit"

i think i will be down there again next week some time but talk to remyboy hes from there and goes out quite often and can put you on what to get for a starter kit

getin--we are getting together Wednesday in markham for some spey casting....for carp
Madoc,mariver--lets def do a day or weekend even..fly guys need to get together --I would ove to do a salmon day--and steel for sure but also this little dream oasis of yours MADOC needs to be appreciated by the fly boys soon haha

GBA and I have come together to find a handful of great places in our area that any of you are more than welcome to join us at. We plan on doing the salmon run this year as well (his first on the fly, my first all-together) - doing it as a group would be awesome!
