Lots of great spots, again depends on what you are looking for. I would suggest the Toronto Islands or anywhere along the waterfront where you can cast for Pike. Make sure you have a net as you may be hoisting the fish up 4 or 5 feet in some spots. Otherwise you will have to cut your line and kiss a $10 Rapala goodbye.

Steelhead, Trout, try any of the tribs. Humber, Wilmot, Rouge, Duffins, Oshawa. Ganny will be opening soon.

I agree with diggyj, pike is your best bet right now.
Wait a couple more weeks and with the softwater, you can go for panfish in the lake simcoe area. Consistent action and almost zero chances of being skunked... with all the perch that is. :lol:

I have been out 5 times for the pike, no luck yet, but I will keep try`ing, There`s lotsa places to fish from shore in Toronto....from the humber, all the way to ashbridges bay...and any spot inbetween. Do some home work...lotsa info in past posts about where to go.

Adeline Park in Bradford for Crappie/Panfish.

I have been out maybe a dozen times for Pike this year and have only manged 2. One last Thursday and one last Friday. The changing weather has been screwing them up. I have also been getting screwed as sometimes you go out and its frozen over again.

All the fronts that have moved through this week as well as the rain has made fishing difficult. Water levels are higher, water is dirty and stained.

Weather looks good starting tomorrow and all weekend. The sun will heat the water and they will come to the shallow flats to feed. Find weeds, find fish.

i wouldn't consider adeline park to be in the town of bradford...keswick seems more fit.
the holland river runs through bradford a bit south-west of keswick. some good spring panfishing there too.

I was just scouting the rouge. Will post pics in a few. Not sure about the regs and being able to fish up to the bridge.

And yes I will be going out tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday. Might even put the boat in at Bluffers and make my way along the shore.

walleye season closes on monday so unless you are going before then DON'T GO FOR WALLEYE, it'll cost you dearly if your hoisting up walleye in spawning time

There is a trail that goes down to the water near the footbridge. It will take you farther upstream. Not sure about steelies. I know guys have been catching them there already this year, but I have never fished for them myself.

Won't know unless you try. I am going to go upstream and cast for pike.
