Carp in Port Credit

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum, and this year I really want to try my hand at some carp fishing. I was just wondering if anyone's had any experience catching carp from anywhere around the mouth of the Credit River. All I really want to know is if there actually are any carp in the area to fish.

There can be a ton of carp at the mouth of the credit.

I have caught a few decent Carp in Port Credit, not sure if the water is warm enough for much action in March though, but then again this is not excatly normal March weather....
While I was there last summer there were quite a few big Carp cruising around the west side of the harbour / inlet area and also the far west side of the harbour parking lot, in the sheltered bay just west of the old stone wall / pier.

check out the sister stacks down by dixie before the gen plant closed used to see tons carp fisherman there good brown fishing off the point to some pike in there and bass fyi also
