just wondering if anybody uses this method at a place called port burwell, and if so when's a good time for doing this.some pics, advice or success fishing about this area would be great.

I've never heard of anyone casting for salmon at Port Burwell, but I think that Otter creek empties into lake Erie at Burwell so the odd Salmon may run the creek starting in late August. You would do better on Lake Huron rivers like the Maitland at Goderich. The odd steelhead is caught at Port Bruce by Perch fishermen each fall and Port Bruce is very close to Port burwell.

ok looks like i will just head to niagara and or port dalhousie sometime sept/oct,just thought i would give port burwell a try as it's less of a drive for me. but looks like they don't do that type of fishing there.

Ive never seen them caught in burwell, i go there frequently for perch probably this sunday, and i was there last sunday. Oddly enougg i was told by some people that live in kincardine who were there and they said people can catch salmon off the pier with some cleos there. Anyone know anything about this? i know the staging in august/september its good but i was thinkin of a weekend trip if i can now.

If not see you all in burwell for some perching got almost 100 between 4 guys last week!
