The more time you spend fishing, the more likely you are to have an improbable catch.

From earlier today. Apparently not that rare, or is it...?

Well ... I went out all night the other day, and must have caught:

150 Catfish (all little guys) 50 Rock bass 100 Chubs 20 perch...

Even a couple little shakers!

* The water temps still like a Hot Tub

Not one through the whisker! lol

I did manage to SPEAR MYSELF (real friggin good) in my Thumb. Hurt like a SOB and Bled for about an hour.

Catfish can be dangerous! While handling at night

A shaker refers to a small fish, usually a small trout or salmon.

Of course, one guy's shaker is another guy's trophy,

A lot of guys would call a 2-3 lb steelhead a shaker out on the lake or during the full run, shaker or not they're fun as hell.

I am guessing Blair's shakers were the ones that typically come up in August, they are 12 to 16 inches, small but starting to really look like a steelhead.

2-3 of the Deep Holes in one of the Tribs.

Water was like a HOT TUB (Feel sorry for any of the Salmon that made their first Run a couple weeks ago after the Rain... Temps WAY TOO HIGH)

Went from 10pm - 3m

Used about 4 dozen worms, 1/2 jar of Skein Roe, 3/4 Jar of Little Garlic marsh Mellows.

Literally every cast was a hit from something! All little ones .... but fun to catch on Ultra Light.

Wasnt expecting any Salmon, wasnt targeting, didnt see any!

Was very surprised at the small shakers (little Rainbows).... At first thought they were bigger Rock Bass.

The Rock Bass although small ... fight like little devils at night.

Course, some of the smallest catfish can hit like bricks as well.....lol Only when you start to reel them in do you feel the weight (NONE WEIGHT) on the line.

Was a great night to catch about 150+ fish that in total may have equaled 10 lbs

*SMILES* All catch and release of course, no bucket!
