this is what happened...
one day i was looking in my brother's maclean's magazine and i saw an advertisement in it for OFAH. i went to the website and told frozenfire, and he's like yea, that's old news... i said oh... and i asked him, do you think i should submit my fish pictures... and he said yea sure.
so i did. i received an e-mail stating how it will take them 4-5 days to place up posts... they will e-mail me... yet after this amount of time i did not receive an e-mail. more than a week later i did and they sent me spam... saying thanks for your efforts, become a member... buy this special package for $60 while it's worth over $100... something of that sort. i didn't think this qualified as a "your pictures were approved" e-mail so i asked frozenfire to check the website for me cause he was bored.
the next morning while at work (today), he calls me... and i find this odd... why would he call me for, especially so early... and he's like, i went to the website and you're in the banner!!!!!!!!! i was like whaaaaaaaaat? cool! seriously? and he says yes. when you submit anything to OFAH they consider it theirs... so they did not notify me about the banner or anything.
i'm pretty sure they only put it up to encourage girls to fish or something... it's not anything out of the ordinary.
