Have never chummed but was wondering if anyone uses something other than loose roe to do so?

1: Chumming with roe...unconscionable
2: Chumming with anything...stupid (adding nutrients to the water that don't naturally belong there...)
3: Chumming with ROCKS...sure; especially if you happen to chum some big ones by "accident" over to the other bank where a guy has been consistently drifting over your line...
