Hey guys,

so next weekend, i will be in collingwood for 3 days and 2 nights. I am wondering where i can go fishing nearby. are there any good spots for mainly bass fishing. Other fish are fine, but i like bass.

Thanks,

Tough to find good fishing spots in Collingwood, for bass especially, the lake is deep and cold... However the river in thornbury had smallies in summer, Lake Eugenia is about 30 mins away which has big largies, and smallies as well, plus you could try the notty at Wasaga....

is the river... the beaver river, i heard that the fishing there is really bad now... I'll take a look at lake eugenia, it sounds promising. theres a marina at my hotel, is it worth a shot to cast a line there. but it doesnt connect to open waters like the georgian bay. its basically a parking lot for boats

If they are parking their boats there It would be connected to the lake somehow otherwise why would it be there?

I think Collingwood harbour has some pike and bass in it.
