Two fishermen throwing punches at each other on the river. Very entertaining!

Reminds me of fishing at the C River - first major bend where some D bag "Dan" comes and stands 2 ft away from you when there is the entire river to fish.

It's like someone tailing you on the highway for no reason
OR
Someone standing behind you in line and you can feel them breathing on you

It's the greatness that we encounter when fishing for salmon or steelhead.

Its happening everywhere. Its funny how on the ice guys walk by and check for blood stains on the ice , or my favourite is when they start with all the right questions one after the other(any luck ,how deep are you fishing ,what are you using) and at the end they setup right beside you.
Fishing on a boat (jigging for walleye) is the same crap. Guys see you on the lake and your on the fish, next thing you know they are right beside you. It sucks but its becoming a norm everywhere.

I love the C. CRA has done a fantastic job on this river. But location makes it popular. I've actually on occasion ignored my submerged float till guys have past me by. Lol.

That is not combat fishing.
Combat fishing is getting down on ur belly and slithering up to a Brookie stream trying not to spook them, while presenting your fly or lure.

Cheers, Alfie.

That's happened to me too on the C river. Some dude with an 1000$ float setup and 1000$ waders and pack starts fishing 10 feet downstream of me, then acts all flustered when I drift past him. Still a fun river, but I fish it more when the salmon are gone.

Actually I thank CP guys to low hole me.
There all not that considerate. But it sure holds me up less having them drift below me than above me. Takes quite a while for them to wind in long drifts.
But most CP pros know that. Thanks
