Coming to TO

Hello All, I am planning a trip to Toronto mid Sept. and would like to get out for a day of flyfishing. I like to fish rivers and steams but am not opposed to renting a boat for some lake fishing. Any advise on locations and speicies at that time of year within an hour or so from the GTA would be greatly appriciated.

Bronte Creek, Credit River, Ganaraska are all great options for steelhead that time of year.

Lake Simcoe, Lake Scugog, Rice Lake for bass, walleye, musky or pike, not all species in lakes listed.

upper credit river for browns and brookies, you could also check the upper grand river for big browns.
