Anyone go check out the rivers this morning?? Are any even fishable?

drove over bronte this morning,

looks like chocolate milk, ide say not yet,

tomoro definitley if the showers stops by noon 2day!!

unless your flossin, it dont matter the conditions!

if your float'n, ide wait til saturday morning, calling for sun on friday/saturday

So I ended up going to check a creek about an hour away, here's my verdict. Probably three inches of visibility under water. No fish!! Hahaha

Ended up finding a semi clear creek, love finding new spots and it payed off! Got two small chromers, and a pile of 12 inch and under bows.

I wonder what's the real problem: Is it the flow volume(high water) or the murkiness(turbidity)? Comments?
I think it's a combo. Flow makes it so your bait is moving fast in hard to see through water. Some of my best days are during the big spring melt but you just need to find a calm back eddy that holds fish. I have caught them in 2' water when the rivers are really moving.

Well said .... I take it your point is: "There is no PROBLEM... the conditions are what they are"

I'm just waiting for Licencetopin to Jump in and give his WELL EXPERIENCED OPINION on these type of threads.
He's done it about 1000 times.

If I could take the liberty to semi-quote his wonderful opinion:

Just GET OUT THERE and FISH!

Any conditions and opportunity to get out is a learning experience.
Since the water, weather, & seasons are always changing anyway .... can anyone here actually say what the PERFECT TIME (Conditions) are?

I can always appreciate those who are making a long journey, who are learning, who want to cover all the angles...
However, is it not prudent to LEARN the CIRCUMSTANCES under diverse situations?

Makes you a more knowledgeable fishermen for the next time around.

Just my opinion (not nagging the question)

I find that when the rivers perfect, Im either working or committed to something else. So any time I have to fish is the perfect time. I've been surprised many times though with some great fishing even though conditions are bad. Plus less people lol. So just go fish n learn.

Over the years I have gone out in rain, sunny and cloudy days, mostly early morning and different tribs. Only once have I seen a brown and that was when the salmon were running. Usually when the salmon stop I stop for the year. But I have never seen a bow on any of the tribs I go to. Sounds like getting them is like 649. I'll give it a few more tries, I just never hit or see any in the rivers.
