One of my friends caught a small mouth there a while back. Cast between rocky cover or areas with low water current. Good luck.

Thanks its hard to believe anything's in there because the water's so shallow that I'm seeing the floor for most of the river in that area.
I went today and caught nothing.
My hook kept on getting caught on the rocks.

I've fished the Credit all my life, and it holds every kind of fresh water fish imaginable, I've even caught american eels in there (not lamprey).
Erindale was never one of my favourite areas. Try to get down to where the QEW crosses the river or near Streetsville and look for deeper waters. There is bass, pike and channel cats in there. Also salmon and steelies when they're running. The upper credit is great for trout, specks, browns and rainbows at a few places I know.

How do you access the river below the QEW, do you access it from stavebank rd. and premium way?
And north or south of the dam around streetsville, any parks you recommend I should access it from?

We get down to the river from the SW of the QE. In Streetsville all is good. Above or below the dam at Barbertown Rd.

Which road or park can you park at to access the QEW area? because I looked at the map and I couldn't figure out from where really you could access it from the sw. Coordinates? 43.552564,-79.612845?
And at streetsville what kind of fish are there?bass?

Sorry fisher I don't know the name of the road. It is south of the QEW and west of the river. I park there and then bushwhack my way down to the water.
Streetsville and Meadowvale are good spots. Fishing is a mixed bag, find a good pool and you may get a bass on 1 cast, a sucker on the next and then a carp and then a pike. I caught a 32 lb snapping turtle on a worm a number of years ago. There's also a few rainbows and browns in the area.
