Czech nymphing for Steelhead

Does anyone use Czech nymphing or any European nymphing methods for steelhead?

I'm curious to see how its working for other anglers?

Is that when they put multiple nymphs on a dead drift system? I've recently noticed more off that fishing type on the credit in recent years. I've tried this kind of technique float fishing using a worm and an egg on the same system to determine what the fish wanted with good success.

Czech Nymphing is a method where you get fairly close to the fish using multiple weighted nymphs and drift it on a tight line.. No indicators or split shots are used.

I fish faster runs with a variation on high sticking and as the other guy mentioned because the technique works best with a short line, Faster water minimizes the fishes ability to see you and you can often get fairly close.I fish with a fly rod and so any control I have over length of the drift is limited.I drift maybe a 20 foot section then take a step down river and repeat until I have moved all the way down a run.Hard to do if the run has other fisherman present.

There's this one guy I always see doing it. He stands in front of fast water and just guides a small fly through. Never seen him hookup, but I'm sure he does judging by the number of times I've seen him do it. Or maybe he's just insane or something LOL.
