After salmon fishing today, I figured, hey, why not?
Never had a pike take a spoon so deep! The pike scent must have been lingering from the previous catch, and it thought it was in for a nice tasty cannibalistic morsel:
The pike moved just before this shot, not the shot I was intending. I call this one, "pike have feelings too":
And got into some pike at Island Lake yesterday:
If you know where this pic was taken, it's a great spot for big pike! I didn't have my camera one time, and had two flop back into the water after being landed, so no photographic evidence :razz:
I'm loving this dollar store spoon in these pics, just been nailing the pike, largemouth and smallmouth on it.
