Do people eat Brown Trout?

I haven't really heard of this. But being a trout I imagine they would be good.
Don't get me wrong I am 99% catch and release. I did keep a Walleye this year.
Today I caught a Brown. 24 inches, about 6 lbs. i sent photos ( to non angling friends ). The first comment was always, a few nice dinners there.
I don't fish to feed myself, but do keep a walleye or chrome or speck rarely.
Just wondering?
I would never keep a nice spawner like the one I let go today. I want to be able to take my 4 yo nephew fishing soon.

I eat Brown Trout, they are good, posted afew pic from a summer camping trip back in Aug, we got some nice 3.5 to 7 pound brown, we kept them all (7 fish), But then again that was on a stocked lake too.

they are tasty, not as good as specks but not bad by any means
