Leg work does pay off... and the valuable lessons learned along the way are priceless. This time around, we didn't have to put in a lot of work, this time.
Scenario : 3.5 liters of beer, 2 guys, in search of steel. We knew the river had a run of fish, so we decided to go as high upstream as legally possible, and start from there, we didn't have to travel far before we started to get into them, thick. The entire creek, void of fish, except for a 50 meter stretch which held anywhere from 60 - 80 fish, all silver, actively feeding. A few of them were even hitting with their behinds! Feeding frenzy! Watching the wake a fish created, projecting towards your bobber, dimishing over a few meters and suddenly... wham, chrome spinning. YEEHAW!
I wish I had more pictures from the adventure, battery died.
If you find a fish with this peice of jewelry hanging out its yap, please return it. Thanks.
