Do you have a collection of DVDs/HD-DVD(dead)/Blu-Ray DVD ?
If so how many do you have ?

I personally have around 250~300 DVDs. Do you think I should upgrade my 27" CRT TV?


What type of home theatre setup do you have ?

My plan is to just get a budget front projector go for the mood than a high quality hi-def stuff.

Hmm... Fish Bat on 100" screen would look nice.

wow...that's a lot of dvd's...
i used to buy them, but not anymore.
i prefer watching in a movie theatre setting.

I have bout the same Mikey..havent bought any in a while though...usually try and get the "previously viewd ones, save a buck or two...burnt one really arent worth the time,money or support.
I bought my tv about 5-6 yrs ago, 47"panasonic , still pretty good actually. Cant twist my arm to spend the money on a bluray yet.

I don't own any bluray discs, but i got 100-200 dvd's. As for home theatre, we have two setups, the main living room has a 55" Sony LCD projection.. or something.. with all the speakers and knick knack and for the Young people lounge, a 47" samsung projection.

Old yamaha rx1000 receiver, polk audio 7.1 speakers, Sony 32" CRT.

Will upgrade once the kids stop breaking things...

Yup I have so many I had to organize and put everything on an easy to look up list with location

I have some....maybe about 40 or so but really do not get many as after I watch a movie once, I very seldome watch it again. A lot of what I do have were given to me as gifts.

I love dvd`s, I have about 160, I have some Tv series, like seinfeld, and sg1, but we buy alotta movies, also the prev viewed, save more than a buck or 2, I wait till they are at least 6.99, then use a coupon, lol. I don`t have much of a home theatre...26` jvc in liv/bed, I rebuilt them so I have 2. I also just have a OLD reciever, that I run som old stereo speakers outta, but still sounds good.

I have a lot, well wait, comparing to your collection it is not really that much, I do not know, maybe 120 DVD's . The only thing is, I have only few DVD's that are purchased in store, most of them I make myself, It is sort of fun & hobby at the same time for me.
