Hello.

Not sure who else have a boat other than disspatcher but...
I have a question to those of us without quality boat like someone...

Answer I would like to know is "Is it a 1 piece or 2 piece rod?" Does it matter to you ?

Personally, since I do not have a boat and have a small car it is a must that I use a two-piece rod(s).

Than again I don't even have that many rods either...

I have...
1 5'6" UL setup (2piece)
1 7'6" UL setup (4piece)
1 7' Med (2piece)
1 10' Med (2piece)
1 6'6" MH (2piece)

I have a mid size car, but I normally use 2 piece rods.

6'6" ML 1 piece only one (actually looking to trade it), everything else is 2 peice and yes I have a boat, but don't see a difference from one to two piece. The only major difference I can pack my rod in a case, and fly anywhere without carring a 7' one piece around. I find the sensetivity the same. All in all 2 piece is more convienent.

just my 2 cents

Mikey, when I started fishing I had a few rods, over the years I have about 40 rods and reels, not including the collector gear.

I have both, more two piece. 6 1/2 rod in telescoping case makes for a difficult load into a Beaver on fly-ins

i use 2 piece rods due to the fact i have a two door car that is rather small. 1 piece i hear is better for fishing in heavy cover but for those of us who dont have boats or suvs it is a little harder to get around wit qa one piece.

maybe one day when i save up for a nice all species boat...lol

I drive the luxury sport sedan so the back seat doesn't fold down, so that the chassis will be stronger. So all 2 piece for me as well as telescopic. Anyone saw the new shimano travel rods???

Are you showing off that you not drive a sport car but a LUXURY sport car?

all of mine are 2 piece. is there even a difference with a 1 piece? and plus, two piece rods are so much more convienient to carry around

Same here, most of my rods are 2 piece Shimano rods, what I'll usually do is store 2 rods in my backpack with me when I go downtown, it makes it easier getting on & off streetcars or the subway. Although I've had a 1-piece BPS baitcasting rod that was pretty sweet, and I've noticed that St.Croix mainly sells 1 piece rods, so it goes to show its probably a preference/convience thing.

It's 270hp and fully loaded with navi and everything so I would say it fits the bill.

honestly i didnt feel the difference when i was fishing with my friend one piece rod last summer, i prefer 2 piece rods, and 3 piece is my fly rod.
i have 2 one piece rods, however they are for icefishing.
