Oh crud really going to need the Ouzo for that one, hope your bringing a case after that we might need more than a shot. 
So Oct 13 on the green it that the final concensus?

Interesting choice of day of the moon cycle...

Steelheading isn't always easy bro. Tough conditions are what seperate the men from the boys. The tougher the bite, the more you learn! Yah so if that's cool, we'll meet up at the parking lot by the cemetery, on October 13'th at day break? make our way down the cliff, and smash some steel! That side of the river is never to pressured compared to the trailor park. Should be fun boys!

I guess I should mention as well, any member of this site is more then welcome! If you're new to steelin' or still a newbie, tag along! We'll hook you up with someone with some knowledge under there hats. And closer to the date, I'll start a new topic with directions how to get there and we'll just do a quick head count.

I was just wondering if the choice was purposeful. I'm certainly not afraid of tough conditions and in 22 years of chasing Oncorhynchus and Mykiss you can bet I've fished them. There is a slow time on the Gbay and huron tribs and if I had to make an educated guess I'd say this date would be in the middle of it. not much pressure there till a hundred OFF guys show up lol

I've done really well on the Geen in mid October, there's always something around to fish for, browns, late run chinny's cohos and tons of pinks, not to mention the steel should be in by then. I think this is going to be more of a fun day then a die hard fish day. I just thought it'd be a good idea for all of us to get together, is anyone really that concerned about vast amounts of fish? We can change the date??

I certainly dont wont to go out and buy some more OUTFITS now.... *SMILES*

I think things are perfect.

Like you say, it;s really about the Get Together.

If it was about the "Fishing Alone" ... 2-3 guys is my limit!

Hey Guys:

Any other suggestions are welcome--I only mentioned the cemetery run as it can withstand a number of anglers. Feel free to chime in with any other ideas.

Whose bringing the stogies???

That's another benefit of the cemetery run, waders aren't 100% vital, handy for sure, but not needed.

I've never been trout or salmon fishing but really looking forward to this. I'm in for sure. Can't wait to soak up some first hand knowledge from experienced anglers like you guys
