Hey guys,

Seasons ending for Brookies, Browns, and Rainbows in a week from now so thought id head out one last time and break in the new 3wt before next season. Got into some Rainbows, they werent huge but I love the small creek atmosphere and how acrobatic they can be!

Thought i'd share some of them and a release video from today as well! Already cant wait until April!

Naw he just yelled at me all the time 😉

Nice Swany.

Tossing I think he is referring to the fact that certain creeks and streams close as of Oct 1st.

Nothing wrong with creeks guys.
Thought you might enjoy breaking out your big guns and enjoying the fall steel.

I'm trying it out this year! Last outing with my fly gear is all but picked up a float rod not long ago, no idea how to fish for em but I'm gonna google it and try haha

And yeah I coulda chose a better title for the post

tons and tons of info on steelhead fishing on here. don't put your fly gear away yet, you'll good til at least december this year, step up to a heavier weight rod though, suggest minimum 6wt. i don't put mine away til at least january.
