Wow .... This week has been terrific on OFF!

The vibe has really become... SO POSITIVE!

I have really enjoyed reading & participating.
Contributors have:

1. Posted Pics (All kind of Species)
2. Gave advice on Waders
3. Talked about Conditions
4. Shared BEAUTIFUL WORK on their FLYS
5. Gave Updates & Reports (North - Georgian Bay, Niagara, GTA tribs, Harbourfront)

7. Shared tips on locations and techniques (Lakers, Pike, Walleye, Salmon)
8. *One "Faux paux" and then "apologies ... *SMILES*

Anyway ... you nailed it on the head!
No wonder it's labelled "SALMONOID INSANITY"

I just personally cant understand why?

Not to go on a rant ... but:

1. THEY ARE STOCKED FISH! (Not knocking the "Reports & stats" form our wonderful friends at CRAA"- but the NY ones seem to have different numbers, and thats a fact)
2. All spring and summer the "Charter Fisheries" just "rape & pillage" (Not coming "down on them") and then in the fall, us "Shore fishermen" get all hostile (if you actually ADD the TIME spent on a peir ie: 100 guys + 5 hours each = 3 fish landed -'in Total!"... doesnt make sense, does it?)
3. A lot of guys have already packed up their equipment by this time (Shame ... but to each their own)
4. Other guys are just JONESING for the ICE
5. There are so many other HUGE fish out there (CARP - CARP - CARP! .... oh yah and MUSKIE)
6. Tons of Pike action now

So why the FREAK SHOW, come salmon season?
(Gives me a headache)

LOL I laughed when I read that! hahaha! lol I hope it's 3 fish each, but something really tells me it isn't :shock:

Friggin ... Last year I thought I was having a hard time at the Credit in Jan.
Going 2-3 days (about 10-18 hrs) without hitting a Chromer.

Do the STATS on Pier Fishin and you get about .0000001 fish per hour.
They say a "Muskie" is a fish of 10,000 casts.
Yet it's stats would be 1000 times higher if "WE" were all collectively fishing for one.

Just mind boggeling!
