If you guys love Dave Mercer and Facts of Fishing then you should check out the season premiere on the weekend of the new season if you can.

It was on WFN last night and it was amazing.

He was hunting Goliath Groupers and man were they huge. I saw a show before on them but this was a great episode. He was battling these 450lb monsters in structure you have to see to believe and was basically pulling them with a 150 HP boat to get them out. Not to mention the 600 lb Test that was being used and I thought I saw it all but he even got broke off using 600 lb Test, yes that right.

His hillarious laughs remain the same.

The weight of the line will determine how much load it can hold before snapping .. if you are going for a huge fish .. pay close attention to the line rating ... but note that the thicker the line the obvious and more rigid it will be ... also it depends on your rod and reel rating too.
You have to think like a fish and ask yourself where you would be if you were in a lake like this??? anyway...you should use a bobber set the depth to 1 to 2 feet from the hook (depending on depth of lake) and put 1/4 to a 1/2 of a nightcrawler on the hook and wrap it 2 to 3 times around the hook. This will easily catch you sunnies and maybe a bass or trout as well. As for the Carp you can use whole kernal corn and chum the water first to attract them to your line. For the trout and bass you can use small spinners and for the bass you can use small to medium sized Rapalas .
The best way to hook any bait is to make it as natural as possible.. i would put the hook through the worm twice and let the tail dangle - you may want to consider using a long shank hook and run the entire length of the worm along the hook.

ummmm........ok? gueswsing this is some kind of new type of spam? 8)
