Not sure time is going to chnage much. It's been -30 for several days in a row in January and February and the slush is still there. We are getting rain this morning changing to snow this afternoon. Good news it is getting colder so the machine tracks on the ice should freeze up and make it a little easier to get out. It will still be messy off the tracks. With snowshoes you will at least stay out of the water, but its still going to be a workout. Forecast is sunny and -8 for Sunday..........

i say we change this to the next weekend, I'm more likely to make it and a forum member might be able to make it that date too, J'snest: i tried snowshoeing but still got my feet wet, too much water under the snow usually its just slush on joe but now its like standing in s shallow pond lol, plus the tracks will freeze up more and will be easier to get out, i have tracks running right by my hotspot, plus me sled and hut tracks and snowmobile tracks. Anyways I'm gonna try to go next weekend and maybe Chris will, so if we do we could just have a smaller gtg with a little group of people, who is planning on going any times soon?

sadly im gonna have to cop out of this one boys.. if it gets pushed back ill be in for it but im not liking how the ice sounds and i dont have the equipment to negotiate those conditions

ok so if it doesn't happen this sunday which it probably won't, i guess we could just go ahead and hit it sunday? Anyone who's in can just go, ill probably be there and I'm sure well have a time!

I'd be surprised if there's much slush next weekend with those temps in the forecast.

trust me joe is always slushy, to was slushy in -30 last year, lol, its just that it will be a little slush and not up to your knees in water and slush and wet snow like now.
