First Fish on the Centerpin

Awesome steel. specially coming from nowhere. I'm barely take pictures anymore...I just enjoy fishing now. It really doesn't prove anything now. Catch fish...appreciate the fight...give thanks and off he/she goes. But if I catch myself a 30lb. muskie...

it's not about proving anything for me. Now that i've figured out the chrome its time to figure out the art of photography and that includes proper handling while taking the pics. I get the fish into shallow water and hold the line just above the leader. At that point I consider the fish landed and if it gets away it gets away. I then turn on my clicker and dunk my pin in the water/mud at a cool angle, get the camera ready and then position the fish still in the water at a good angle. Take a few pics and release.

Now if i'm keeping the fish that sucker gets swung onto the bank like a bass in a tournament.

lol...
remembered one guy dragging a 25lb salmon to the banks...by the gills. asked if he's keeping it. proudly replied is strictly CnR and was there for the pictures and fights...he took his time taking selfies asked me to take a picture of him holding the salmon...I took the picture of a nice salmon and half the dudes face....he then drags the salmon back to the water...
