Finally went out for the first time in 2014. Went 0/2 due to ice shelves, lost a beautiful fresh female.

Thanks to PUMP KNOWS and Jose for coming out and to Jose for trying to help land at the end.

Skip to the end, I didnt edit the video so it's boring, but you can see the fish break off at the end :p

It might be the camera angle, but your handle seems to have quite a bend in it. Loosing fish is always better than not fishing.

haha thanks Ron, I was debating going in the water for a bit...but not worth it. I thought it was Raul, but his call display showed Jose.

The handle was not bent, its the wide view of the go pro.

Thanks everyone, looking to actually land some this weekend if the ice melts more

I just found out his name is also Jose...haha.

This weekend should be looking good with the plus temps.

We might hit up yesterdays spot on Friday to check it out for the weekend. If its still the same, we'll head to the spots from Saturday.

I'll keep you posted and we can fish again.

nice to see you had a Cpl on, bring a rubber net next time and then you'll have a better chance of landing it.

Yeah I have a net, but I just hate lugging it around. I do a lot of footwork and bush wacking....a lot lol

Has anybody been out on the GTA tribs? Last time I checked they seemed way too iced-over! Perhaps they are opening up for fishing now?
