seriously to which part---i threw meat on CP for enough to catch a few nice salmon and a couple other fishies---enjoyed it for the 3 months i did it--basically chinny hunting--but once i tried the fly i was done--like sell my stuff and give my roe away type of done...

So with that vast experience, you associate drifting with a pin as a brutish sport.. then imply that fly fishing somehow elevates your status as an angler....

He doesn't have a problem with CPing dude. He just enjoys the fly more. Good for him. We all have our preferences. And I have never heard or seen him rip on CPing directly. I believe what he has a problem with are the folks who buy rediculously over priced gear to give their egos a boost. (E.g Simms and imperials).

never once said that--also never ever made myself to look like anything other than a guy who loves fishing and loves to joke...that said goodentight is a buddy of mine who makes CP look like an art--he smashed fish steady---it just didnt do it for me---when i make comments on here its mostly trolling knowing that someone will blow his baby batter and not have the ability to see me as aguy that farts around--mission accomplished....
