I think I misidentified your first pick, it looks more like a juvenile lake trout and the second pick could be a Splake. Sometimes Brook , Speckled and Splake can be hard to identify. Nice catches anyhow.

I’d say both Brookies. Both fish have to white tipped fins. I don’t remember seeing that on any other fish. Pretty sure that’s a Brokie marking.
 
Both are brook. The only true way to determine Splake from a Lake is to open it up. This is according to past statements from the MNFR.
 
The first one does look like a laker to me, the white tipped fins don't necessarily mean its a brookie and usually you would see some pronounced markings on a brookie of that size. The tail however isnt forked enough for it to be a laker so im going to go with brookie or splake.
