Fish species you like to catch

What would be the fish you like to catch before your license expire? Bass Pike for me.

My yearly license expires the first of every new year. My tradition is to always by one on January first. Since ice fishing will be in full swing here in AK during that time frame I would say that I would like to catch a nice Lake trout before it expires.

During the run of sockeyes, pinks and chum salmon yea. Silvers are abundant but not always. King salmon in southcentral AK have declined and recently are not as abundant as years past. Restrictions and full closures have been in place the last two years. Hopefully they bounce back. This year was the first year since moving here nearly 9 years ago that I haven't caught a king salmon. I chose not to fish for them in southcentral.

What would be the fish you like to catch before your license expire? Bass Pike or Musky for me.

Would have loved to get my first salmon this year but my god, one more year of being a student then I can splurge into fishing and vacations. Hopefully next year
