What crankbait were you using?

I had one on a Rapala Huskey jerk...tiger stripes 4 in, and another on a Rapala perch, 3 in.

Problem I have with using any suspending lures like Husky Jerk is that when used with leader... it sinks.

Yup, I almost always use a leader, I love to change it up and quickly.

Yup I have this problem too, I just don`t let it fall, by holding my tip up, or not letting it wait too long...but that dictates the kinda reel-in you hafta do, so whatever works!
