Hello, I was looking towards some help for finding a fishfinder I was told about. I was told there is one that hooks up to your trolling motor so you can save a route you take and it will take you on that path. Does anybody know the one I am referring to

I'm pretty sure humming bird has a mount to put there transducers on the trolling motors

Not sure if this is what you are referring to but if you want to save a route and be able to follow it you need to have a minnkota trolling motor with Ipilot or I pilot link.

I pilot only has the ability to save routes and follow the track that you have saved.

I Pilot Link allows you to set a course on your fishfinder (humminbird compatible models only) eg you can set your course to be + or - however many feet from a contour line and the trolling motor will follow that course. However the I pilot link only works if you have a lakemaster chip for your humminbird fish finder and I hear lakemaster chips do not have a lot of canadian lakes.

I have a terrova 80 with ipilot on my boat and it is amazing, I use the spot lock (GPS anchor) a ton and the record a track is really cool too.
