I'm 99.999999% sure that's an indicatorKnuguy said:I found this bead out on the river. Sorry for the out-of focus pic. You fix it in place by inserting the peg into the little hole. The bead is soft hollow plastic. Looks like a good design to me. Anybody else see or use these? Brand?

Thingamabobber basically a float or indicator when you're on the fly, probably one I lost hahaKnuguy said:I found this bead out on the river. Sorry for the out-of focus pic. well when you fly fish your definitely not doing a hero drift so no need to see it half a mile downstream, but thats just my take on itKnuguy said:I guess you guys are right. You know a lot more about this than I do. But why not use it as a bead when bottom bouncing----you'd have enough weight to take it down. Strike indicator?----so you are supposed to see that tiny thing way out on the river? Better eyes than mine!!
That's what the big indicators are for I suppose you could try bottom bouncing it but it doesn't look much like an egg lolKnuguy said:I guess you guys are right. Oh, udunno. Has more or less the same resemblance as a normal bead( although you could argue that the little peg and hole arrangement tips off the fish to the fact that it's not an egg.)Christopher K said:it doesn't look much like an egg lol
