P.S I LOVE CATCHING THEM ON TOP TOO!!!!!LOL
Depends... if the dock is surrounded by rocks or sand and I want to fish it slow (late in the fall), I'll use a football jig and drag it along the bottom. Other times especially in the summer, I'll fish docks fast and use a flipping jig, which is basically a swim jig and just hop it along the bottom under the dock and along the sides of the pilings. The trailer I use is a yum money craw.BackwoodsBassr said:Hey Noob for docks do u use a swimming jig or drag it along the bottom or both?
sounds like a winning formula man, I'll definitely try that out this year!FishingNoob said:Depends... if the dock is surrounded by rocks or sand and I want to fish it slow (late in the fall), I'll use a football jig and drag it along the bottom. lol, if i know anything about catching roadrunners I would guess that every single time you try it he takes your worm, and when you go down to check out how he did it he sneaks up on the dock and pushes the boulder on your foot.topwaterjoe said:I usually like to set up a giant boulder just on the edge of the dock with a chalking wedge keeping it just from falling over. Then I take 8lb fluorocarbon line tied to the wedge with a little worm on a 1/0 aberdeen hook and suspend it just off the bottom….
…wait… no… that is how I catch the roadrunner. Nevermind.
