Hi i got a quick question to any one who can answer this, not much of a pro at fishing but would i be able to catch trout or even salmon in rivers still, like credit river, humber river, or the humber marshes??? or do they move out further into lake ontario where i would need a boat to get them??? and what fish do you think would be present at the mouths of the humber river, humber marshes etc, its the closest locations to me since i take the bus, any tips of little info would help me out ALOT!!!!!!! tried all last year fishing for bass and any of the smaller fish i think i could catch, caught nothing!!!!! so now im trying to catch some bigger fish to make my chances a lil better i hope, so pls any help i would be appreciated, THANKS.!!!

Hey, Well lets see, Trout run in the spring, and and Salmon in the fall, so when they are runnin, you can find em both in the rivers...but only for a period of time, otherwise you can get em deep in lake Ontario trolling. There are other fish in the Humber all year, Carp, bass and small trout, but never had much success there. Try Ontario place or the island...only a streetcar ride away.

Man i wish i lived in toronto, you guys have some great spots down their, I have never gone to the islands and i hear their amazing fishing. I seen many a fishing show aired with them fishing with toronto in the background.
I am going to take the go train down some day and see if i can find my way from union station to the islands but i have no idea were to go from union station, never been anywere but downtown from their.

by this time.all trouts must have been in lake.only option is trolling.

Well that and Pier Fishing, Bronte Pier is right on the mouth of Lake Ontario, and you can still get them casting spoons when they come by in schools, their few and far between but their there.
