Hey Guys,

Been a while since I posted on here last, happy new year to all.

We have just sold our home in Brampton and purchased our in Shelburne, On. We move the later part of March.

Wanted to ask if anyone has experience float fishing on rivers out there? When I was much younger my dad and I would go out there. There was a farmer who would sell parking passes and we would fish a small creek on his property that was stacked with Chrome in spring and Salmon in the fall. As my dad has gotten older (we went before GPS was a household item) he can no longer remember where this is.

Any help on areas of rivers to fish would be greatly appreciated! - PM preferred.

Thanks again
iJay

There was a guy on the Pine river near Everet that allowed guys on if you paid for it but I don't think he still does that anymore. Lots of private property in that area which makes it difficult to fish anywhere and the few spots open to the public can get crowded.. good luck.

Never knew of any chrome in the area. It is a high lands. There are native trout around. Just have to do the leg work. Drive back roads.
Even if you are near private property and cannot get permission, a lot of nice natives can be caught fishing bridges and culverts from the road allowance on these sideroads and concessions.

Explore.

So we have moved, last weekend we were able to take a drive around the surrounding areas. There are alot of rivers and creeks running up there. some of which I recognize the names of.

Didn't have a chance to stop to look over the bridges but will be doing so in coming weeks.
