Beauty! First time I have ever seen the word "nincompoop" used in a while!!!! So I checked out the etymology of the word and.... the earliest usage was in 1676 and is possibly from the Latin non compos mentis (“not of sound mind”). Earliest known use of nincompoop spelling is from 1680.

I think "nincompoop" actually sums up perfectly this woman.... not of sound mind

I was tempted to throw her into the pool with the salmon.....lol. I'm still looking for that thread, I don't remember who stated the law. The search is not helping either. We could all use it incase any of us come up with a nincompoop like her....lol. B-yatch is easier to type.....lol.
 
Wow! She sounds as bad the guy I ran into. I've gotten yelled at for fishing before from people with fishing rods and with out. It really ruins the mood. Wow, I can't get over it, it would totally ruin my day. Lets pray no angler ever meets people like this.

On a side note: Get into any fish?
 
Yeah we still landed a few. ALN had to leave early but he had his first before I even got there. Angler_Brazil came after work so he showed up long after she was gone. It's a good spot with a few anglers there. Usually on the weekends there are a few more. It's a fishing sensitive area. For zone 17 everything is closed north of the CNR tracks now. So it's we are not going there anymore. We'll see if the b-yatch will be there in the spring.......lol. Can't let idiots ruin your day. I was there with the guys and we have a good time together, that's more important.

hahaha thanks for the breakdown of the word nincompoop. Always nice to know a little bit about the word before I yell it at someone.

Did you get a pic of the nincompoop? it might be a good idea if something ever happens...I can remember an old man that used to rant at people that fished a stocked lake on crown land he let the air out of peoples tires right up untill he was reported to the police! :blink:

Have her charged you say. If such a bogus law does exist (which is doubtful), how exactly did she prevent you from fishing? With words? What a joke.

Shoud've did the gangnam style for her. lol, in all seriousness there's a lot of morons out there. I've had people tell me I'm fishing in a sanctuary when it was clearly not. Let them say what they wanna say and continue fishing.

I've had a guy tell me the same, that I'm fish a sanctuary when I knew it wasn't. Lot's of idiots everywhere.
