Fishing the Niagara river near the Whirlpool on canadian side

hey guys, on the weekend im heading down to niagara, im gonna go with my dad and sister and my mom has to go to a meeting nearby so im stuck with the niagara. I cant go down to the whirlpool since my dad isnt to keen on the walk up and my sister HAS to come :razz:. Are there any easily accessible spots on the canadian side that i can get into some bass, pike, trout and salmon maybe ? you can pm me if you'd like. Im open to anything, just want to catch something, so far salmon fishing im 1 for 9 not good lol. any help is appreciated.

EDIT: in the pool ive always used 30lb braid with leader and my caster, im just too afraid of a massive carp taking my line halfway down the river with that current, what would you say i use downstream of it, im thinking 14lb mono ? or maybe 10lb ? thanks.

11 clicks to fort George. Small deck full of white buckets on a bad day. You can get lucky and have it all to yourself. Great lmbass fishing... Caught a 15lb pike casting singling plugs. Very deep so id say bottom bouncing is great there.
