Florida Saltwater fishing charter suggestions

I'm planning on booking a charter this winter when I'm in Florida. I'm looking for suggestions on what types of species, locations, charters and any general advice as i have never been on a saltwater charter before. I realize that this is a very open ended question, however any advice will help.

Pick an area i e. Port Charlotte , then Google your destination. There are usually a bunch of videos on youtube on most destinations.

Where are you going in Florida? Will you have a car?

I've know some guides based out of Fort Myers, Naples, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale.

Chris McCubbin in Naples Florida is the man...great guy and very knowledgable with all species both Gulf and back waters.

Yes, i'll have a car. I will be based in ft Lauderdale but willing to move. I'm looking on catching something big....much bigger than I'm used to in Freshwater, Ontario lakes. Appreciate the input guys.
