IMO fly fishing gets pretty easy after a while, but it's still a handicap compared to other methods.

to me the "handicap" is the allure.. i love knowing that i am pretty much going about fishing in the most difficult way. when icatcha fish which is more rare than a wookie sighting it feels wonderful---so wonderful that i have 4 minutes of HD video of me pulling in a shiner..lol
