OK, I'll venture an opinion.
I checked their website. They only have dealers on the west coast of US. I have seen ads for their stuff in a few magazines, but usually it is the reels. The graphite in the rods is probably not as stiff as they say on the website unless the walls of the blank are thick - which doesn't seem to be the case judging from the dia. of the rods pictured. I expect this to be a medium flex rod, which in this length is actually what you want IMO. The reel seat is aluminum, so not as expensive or pretty as a wood insert. A 2pc 7.5ft rod is only 3.75ft when in the case (I hope you get a case), so should fit in the trunk of most cars, but not good for travel as mentioned above. I think $100 is OK for this rod, esp. if it comes with a tube, and if it is in good condition I would probably go for it –will they take $85?
This rod is one that I would use on the Upper Credit, Upper Humber, and Upper Ganaraska for flies no larger than about size 12, and for casts no further than about 35ft - for either 8" trout or panfish. You will probably need a light reel to match it for weight.
All this being said, I belong to a casting club (lots of rods to try), have been to several shops here and in Vancouver as well as in the NE States, have 15 rods, and I have never seen a FlyLogic product.
