There will be some new fishing regulation changes effective Jan 2013....



Some of the changes will be:

Increase minimum size on Muskie to 54 on Lake Ontario and lower Niagara.

Decrease limit of Rainbow trout on Lake Ontario from 5 to 2.

Bass season will now open a week earlier in some zones.

Limit of 2 walleye on Lake Nippissing.

A slot size for walleye is now imposed in zone 18.

These are just a few that need to be mentioned.

darn, no zone change on bass season in zone 16. Looks like ill have to find some new bass grounds for the third saturday in June.

Glad to see that happening finally. The charter boats were harvesting bows like crazy...More fish in the rivers!

X2. I was hoping zone 16 would have the extended regs too. Hope that doesn't meen the bass population is decreasing.
