lol i eint no pro either i just started 2 years ago. i wouldn't recommend haffy to many pople there specially on sunday and saturady u might snagg someone in the head lol. just go upper credit lotta good spots with not many people. i send u link of where i go but u gotta watch out for those red ants man they are deadly, when u get stinged by them it hurts like hell. This seems to be popular spot cus there is always people there. but there is plenty of room for everyone.

I have fished near some red ants definatly not fun, but I think stinging neatles(sp?) is worst, ever walk through a patch of that in shorts in the summer, that weed is killer! I made the mistake and jumped into the water to try to take away the sting but it made it worst. Watch out for them neatles!

Ouch stingin nettel hurts like a b*tch. I think the best thing ive found to cure that is some mud from tha creek smear it on there an let it dry you will be good to go.
Thanks for the dirty tip may help with mosquitos too, I usually wear pants now but some days can be too hot! I learned to identify the nettles just not how to spell it.
LOL I was being sarcastic. I live in Bolton and fish the humber more than any river. There are fish to be found, and yes big ones! The problem is that the watershed cant support much fishing pressure. I believe they are still stocking it with browns based on MNR reports though. Another good thing is the easy access. There are many places to fish the river, but if you want to find the big browns... you need to do some work. Ive caught trout from woodbridge to Highway 9. In the Summer the action stops considerably, mainly due to the palgrave dam. I havent caught much brookies in the river, but have caught them occasionaly near headwaters. I flyfish, but small spinners work good, the trick is not to spook the fish. Please dont litter and keep fish, so this fishery wont get devasted. Those are some nice specks you caught, how big is the trib you caught it from?
Nice! Ive heard about people using chub for the big guys. I just put a streamer, but i use to catch them on small spinners like panther martins. I found that if you want to catch them, you need to find a big pool that has not been fished or is hard access.
Best time is after a rain when the water is a little dirty then you don't have to be so sneaky.
