Anyone happen to try these rods out? I know Loomis makes some great rods, but not sure how good this new entry level rod performs.

What I meant was that the G. Loomis brand is quality stuff, I know that Shimano owns it now, but the rods under the Loomis name are quality.FrequentFlyer said:Actually, its Shimano, Gary Loomis sold it in 97. Still quality stuff, but not the same
I understood what you meant. And to be honest, I would rather spend less money on a veritas or mojo than any of the E6X or the GL2 Rods.Giuga10 said:What I meant was that the G. Loomis brand is quality stuff, I know that Shimano owns it now, but the rods under the Loomis name are quality.

Ya I'm more for a rod at a $100-$150 range, tons of great rods at that price point. I'd really like to try a Jackall Poison Adrena, but no way am I spending that money for one.alwayscatching said:I understood what you meant.
