G. Ross Lord Park - A few questions

Im planning on fishing at g ross lord park in the summer and I want to ask a few questions:

NOTE: I fish mostly in the afternoon, between 2 PM - 5 PM, sometimes from 10 AM - 5 PM.

1) Is that place safe? Iv heard tons of bad things and read quite a few news articles about people mugged, drowning, killed, etc. I wanna make sure its a safe place.

2) Iv heard its been drained and refilled a few times. Are there any fish left in it?

3) Whats a good spot to fish, not too far from the roads? I wanna be able to call for help IN CASE something happens (im scared of getting mugged :cry: )

4) Im planning on bottom fishing for carp and catfish. Are there lots of underwater structures (logs, rocks, trash, etc) ?

5) Overall, is it a good, relaxing, SAFE place to fish?

I fished there probably 15 years ago. I remember catching catfish, sun fish and big carp jumping.

As far as I know it was drained some years ago and it killed everything.
