Good Day to All

Hey all,
My name is Rob and I have been fishing for about 10 years now but only really started to fish heavily in the last couple of years and I love it! Every winter all I find myself doing is waiting for that first real thaw so I can get the boat out and throw a line in the water. I am from Ottawa and have been to many of the lakes surrounding my city (and there are lots), but there are many I have not been to yet and am always looking for that one lake with monster bass to try and catch. I fish mainly for Largemouth and smallies, but also enjoy catching the odd pike or walleye.

I look forward to many posts to hopefully help me become a better angler as well as the opportunity to maybe give some of my experiences to help out others.

Spring is right around the corner and I can't wait to get out there and get in on some good fishing threads.

Hey bud, nice to meet you

never fished the Ottawa area myself but there are tonnes of opportunities out there
more into river fishing when the waters not frozen these days but i used to be huge into pike and still get some in

if you ever find yourself in the west gta area fishing give me a shout and ill do the same if im in the capitol

welcome aboard, looking for big bass..... you have to check out lake Erie. I know it is a little far from you but would make for a great weekend get away.
